Dr. McIntyre has held multiple leadership positions and has been a long-time active participant in consensus-standard setting associations for wood treatment, preservatives and fire retardants. He has chaired committees, developed new standards and shepherded products within these organizations. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the AWPA and is a member of several scientific associations.
