Since 1993, McIntyre Associates has assisted numerous organizations in bringing new preservative formulations to market as well as obtaining standardization within AWPA, IAPMO-ES or ICC-ES. |

McIntyre Associates has been an active participant to obtain listings for 6 out of the last 7 systems added to the AWPA Book of Standards. Within the ICC-ES, McIntyre Associates has obtained listings or critical documents for 14 systems that signify a wide range of preservative technologies. Approximately 80% of the lumber treated in the US in 2012 was processed using listings cooperatively developed by McIntyre Associates. In 2008, a significant feature article in the Forest Products Journal on copper preservatives was co-authored.
